Solio
Solio is a skincare brand specializing in sunscreen formulated specifically for people of color. Solio’s mission is to make sun protection more inclusive and accessible by ensuring no white cast is left behind.
I developed the name, crafted a visual identity, and designed a suite of print and digital assets that reflect the brand’s dual personality: premium and sophisticated, yet grounded in clinical credibility. The name Solio draws inspiration from the Spanish word sol (sun), grounding the brand in warmth, clarity, and care. The logo is composed of sleek typography and a custom symbol inspired by sun rays. The resulting identity strikes a balance between elegance and science, positioning Solio as both trustworthy and elevated in a skincare market that often overlooks the needs of people of color.
